Pour que cette culture de la décision partagée se développe, nous pensons également qu’il faut donner au citoyen – entre les périodes électorales où l’on fait explicitement appel à lui - d’authentiques et tangibles possibilités de participer à la co-construction de la décision publique à travers des dispositifs existants et à inventer ensemble.
Nous souhaitons encourager les innovations qui se font jour au niveau local mais également national et développer les modes de consultation de la population à partir de formes renouvelées du référendum (initiative locale, initiative populaire, initiative citoyenne, …).
Nous pensons que les initiatives prises nous permettront d’en finir avec l’obsession du court terme, avec la dictature du présentisme et la tyrannie de l’urgence qui paradoxalement paralysent et bloquent nos sociétés en empêchant toute pensée constructive sur le long terme. L’action et la parole citoyennes libérées de l’injonction de la réélection (qui conduit à sacrifier les intérêts à long terme de nos sociétés) pourront ainsi contribuer à la reconstruction d’une démocratie tournée vers le temps long et les générations futures.
Il importe de remettre le citoyen au cœur de la politique entendue comme vie de la Cité, un citoyen acteur central de la décision publique.

C'est très très flou et peut vouloir dire beaucoup de choses, mais d'accord sur le principe.
j'ajouterais que la possibilité offerte aux habitant.e.s (plutôt que citoyen.ne.s pour ne pas discriminer les campagnard.e.s même si le mot "citoyen.ne" est généralement compris dans une acceptation plus large que "habitant.e de la ville") doit être PERMANENTE (pardon pour les majuscules, je ne sais pas mettre en gras).
Cela ne veut pas dire juste la possibilité de faire un RIC ou une pétition, mais de contribuer à toutes les décisions.
